Would you like to find out more about Trondheim's history and cultural life, to see some of our famous attractions - and some of the less well-known ones - and to learn more about everyday life in Trondheim?

We can offer conducted tours with highly qualified and friendly guides who will give you all the information you may need about the sights and the possibilities that Trondheim can offer you.We have about 50 guides who are proficient in a number of languages. In the summer we organize standard tours every day, but we can also tailor a tour to your own requirements.

Guided tour of the city by bus (for individual travellers) 

Daily at 12 noon from week 22 to week 34.

A tour of Trondheim and its outskirts. Duration two hours. We visit Haltdalen Stave church at the Trøndelag Folk Museum and Kristiansten Fort. We pass the Royal Residence, Nidaros Cathedral, the Old Town Bridge, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and stop briefly at Utsikten - the viewpoint - for photos. 

Departure from Stiftsgården near the market square . After the tour, the coach will immediately go to Ringve Museum.

Languages: Norwegian, English and German.

Tickets are sold at the Tourist Information Office.


Guided city walk (for individual travellers)
Daily at 2 pm from week 26 to week 33

Join us for a walk through the streets of Trondheim and sense the city's history that stretches from the Middle Ages to our own high-tech society.

Departure from the Tourist Information Office at the market square. 

Duration 1,5 - 2 hours. Languages: Norwegian and English.
