Down by the Trondheim fjord at the bottom of Munkegata, Ravnkloa serves as the city's main fish-market area.

Visit the city's fish market, and take a look at the old Ravnkloa clock. This is the place to go for fresh shrimp right off the boat and fresh ocean fish from the market.

Another interesting sight here is the sculpture "The Last of the Vikings" by sculptor Nils Aas and a copy of the old Ravnkloa clock.

From here you can take a boat to Munkholmen island.

From 20 May to 3 Sept.: Boats to Munkholmen depart daily every hour on the hour from 10 am to 6 pm.
