Art - Adrian Beggar Boy
Artist: Astrid Dahlsveen (1997).
Adrian is a familiar character from a novel from Trondheim. As "a foundling, suckled by a tart and brought up by lecherous womenfolk", he is the main character in Kristian Kristiansen's novel of the same name (Adrian Posepilt) from 1950. This sculpture of him is situated in the garden beside Adrianstua (Adrian's house) in Ringvebukta, where Kristiansen lived from around 1955. Reidun Aune took the initiative to have the sculpture put in place. She also administered its funding.
