Art - Memorial to Olaf Grilstad
Artist: Oscar Lynum (1957).
Olaf Grilstad (1862–1942) was a merchant in Trondheim. He was one of the pioneers of skiing and winter sports in Trondheim and the Trøndelag region. He was behind the construction of Skistua (the Ski Lodge), which is close to Gråkallen (a prominent hill overlooking Trondheim). The stone memorial was a gift to the Skiklubb (Ski Club) on its 75th anniversary. It features a portrait relief made by Lynum.
