Norwegian Deaf Museum

The Norwegian Museum of the Deaf presents a proud linguistic and cultural minority in Norway, and shows the culture, history and language of the deaf in an exhibition.
The museum is located in Norway's first school for the deaf and the exhibition is located in the old classrooms. Here you will find stories about everything from the first deaf schools in Norway, to clever inventions made by the deaf to do well without hearing in society.
Visit the Norwegian Deaf Museum if you want to learn some sign language.
