Samfundet
Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem is owned and run by around 9000 members, and is a natural gathering place for students in Trondheim. The “røde runde" houses concerts, various cultural events, countless bars, cafés and restaurants. The most notable events are the Society meetings, devoted to debate on politics and current issues, or to entertainment and fun. Samfundet also has three of Trondheim's best concert scenes. In addition, Norway's largest cultural festival UKA and the world's largest international thematic student festival ISFiT are organized under the Student Society umbrella every other year.
