Art - Elk Calf
Artist: Skule Waksvik (1970).
The Elk Calf was purchased in 1962, but was not put in place until 1970. Waksvik's art has direct lines to earlier Norwegian decorative sculpture traditions, both in terms of its formal qualities and its content, and he was given assignments to make decorations for public environments.
