Art - Fountain
Artist: Ramon Isern (1972–73).
This fountain was made as part of the design for the open space in front of the new municipal building on Holtermannsveien the same year that it was taken into use (the building has since been demolished). The abstract sculpture was designed to interact with the water and tinted light from eight lights on the bottom of the pool. For technical reasons, the water and lights have been turned off, so that the strict geometry of the sculpture alone plays the leading role now.
