Finn-Pålstuggu

Finn-Pålstuggu is a twenty meter deep mountain cave situated along the trail up to Jervfjellet, named after it's first resident (Pål). It's been told that Pål chased a bear family out of the cave, before moving in himself in the 18. century. The cave was later used by a local resistance group during the second world war. Bring along a flash light if you care to see all of the cave.

Low passages in parts of the cave. Picture below: The trail to Jervfjellet (from Saksvikvollen) passes right outside the cave.
